Alternate lyrics for various songs

Hello,

I've recently come across a couple of alternate Johnny Mercer lyrics and would like to know if they are "official".

There's the Peggy Lee version of "When the world was young".

Then I found an alternate lyric for "Hooray for Hollywood"; it's also credited to Mercer. But most puzzling is "Little Ingenue" from Mercers own "My Huckleberry friend". Both music and lyrics are credited to mercer here. However, on an Irene Kral recording it has a different lyric (still credited to Mercer), but the music is supposed to be from Jimmy Rowles.
