This song was heard on the radio by my father about a year ago, and I am desperately trying to locate it for him. I bought him the Ray Charles/Betty Carter version, but he said that it's not the version he remembers hearing. Any information anyone has that may help me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Darlene

There are several versions of 'Baby, It's Cold Outside', but the Charles/Carter is probably the best. The most famous version of this Frank Loesser song is by Margaret Whiting as a Duet with Johnny Mercer.

I agree, Ella & Louis should have recorded that song. Rosemary Clooney should record taught song with Mel Torme,
since they both have recording contracts with Concord Records.
