I am aware of just four: (There may have been more)

EMPTY TABLES: 1974

FOR EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH USE

(Frank Sinatra - has done the most popular rendition)

It's like singing to empty tables or a gallery that's full of ghosts, or like giving a great big party where no body shows but the host. That's what it's been like, baby; that's what it's ben like all right. With-out you around- to applaud me, evry night its closing night. And I'm doing the same old numbers, yes, and I'm telling the same stalejokes. Nut there's nothing out front but memries and a lot of transparent folk. Please call for a reservation, our favorite spot for two. 'Cause I'm singing to empty tables without you, without you, without you.

MAKE WITH THE KISSES: 1939

FOR EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH USE

Those skies on the horizon, ain't any flies on them, they came right from a technicolor show; It's grand here, yet you stand here wast-in' the whole P.M. - when any dummy knows that we should get chummy;-MAKE WITH THE KISSES, make with the sighs, make with the baby talk, give with the eyes! Here I am making with the "I'll be true," and ev'ry one's making love to someone, what goes with you? MAKE WITH THE KISSES, Make with the thrills, Make with the snuggle up That brings the chills! The sky is making wiht the moon above, It couldn't be brighter, hold me tighter, Make with the love!

I THOUGHT ABOUT YOU: 1939

FOR EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH USE

Seems that I read, or somebody said- that out of sight is out of mind, maybe that's so- but I tried to go- and leave you behind,- what did I find?-I took a trip on a train- and I thought about you, I passed a shadowy lane- and I thought about you, two or three cars parked under the stars, a winding stream- moon shining down on some little town, and with each bean, same old dream, at ev'ry stop we made, Oh! I Thought about you, but when I pulled down the shade, then I really felt blue, I peeked thru the crack and looked at the track, the one going back to you, and what did I do? I thought about you!

BLUE RAIN: 1939

FOR EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH USE

Clouds cover up my horizon with blankets as dark as night; Skies haven't cleared since you disappeared from sight. Everything I lay my eyes on' reminds me that youre away; here n my room it's always a gloomy gray day. BLUE RAIN fallin on my window pane, but when you return there'll be a rainbow after the BLUE, BLUE RAIN. And there's a blue star looking down, asking where you are, but when yiu return there'll be a sunbeam hiding the blue, blue star. Skies will be much brighter than hey were before, when you and love come stoling thru the door. Then ther'll be no more BLUE RAIN; just the sound of my heart's refrain, singing like a million little blue birds after the BLUE, BLUE RAIN.
