If you are referring to the song sung over the credits in the Hecht-Lancaster film of the same name starring Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster (which I'm sure you are), Johnny Mercer didn't even write it. The song was written by Harry Warren (music) and Harold Adamson (lyrics) in 1958, and both writers wrote many songs after this one. I would say that this was the last movie "hit" that Harry Warren wrote.
