Johnny
Mercer was the one and only as far as songwriters. I was raised on the
good old songs, however, I didn't realize
Johnny wrote the lyrics to so many of these great songs. He was not
only a wonderful songwriter but also a wonderful singer.

name is Juliet..age 54. I grew up with my parents
playing and performing music and theatre. What a rich and enchanted
life. Mama singing Dianna Washington, Martha Davis & Spouse, Louie
Armstrong....my first of many many concerts
to come..
I just taped this segment from Dish Network about the man whose music I
have been in love with since I can remember hearing music....the show
just reminded me that that was him all along...thank you
Johnny.....sorry I was not around then but I'm here now to respect and
admire this genius..I wrote down these songs that I really want to have
for my 'best of' collection.
